What operating systems will Semaphor run on?

OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED

We extensively test on these platforms and will troubleshoot any problems you encounter:

  • Windows: Windows 7 and 10, both 64 bit
  • Mac: 10.11 (El Capitan)
  • Linux: CentOS 7 in Gnome
  • iOS: 64 bit devices running iOS 10 or higher
  • Android: 64 bit devices running Android 5.1 or higher

NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED

Any operating system listed here is not officially supported. This means that while it may be possible to run Semaphor on one of these OSes, we do not test on these platforms and cannot provide technical support for users on these platforms. If you have successfully installed and run Semaphor on a platform not listed here, feel free to let us know and we can update this list.

  • Debian 8 64 bit in Gnome
  • Fedora 24
  • Ubuntu 16.04
  • openSUSE 42.1 64 bit in Xfce

Anything which does not appear on this list has either never been tested or has not been successful.
