While the word “encryption” is tossed around freely today, not every execution is equal.

Almost all cloud services and collaboration tools boast of encryption, but not every execution is equal.

What most people don’t realize is that the most important piece of the encryption puzzle is who has the keys to unlock your data (or key management). You may have the keys, but right now the status quo is that a third-party vendor will also have a copy of your keys.
